Logo—Think Ink

This logo was developed as part of a class project. The objective of the project was to create a tattoo resource web page but iI developed this identity for it independently. I chose Warnock for the think part because it has a rough unrefined look while still retaining some traditional character. Meta Black was used for the subhead because of its strong presence legibility at small sizes and geometric similarities to Warnock. Please let me know what you think.

Graham, although the Meta works for the ink type, the dot of the "i" does not read as "ink". Have you tried creating your own dot? Possibly one that resembles a drop of ink.

I agree with Mike that the ink drop is failing to communicate and I also think the 'k' looks a little out of place with the rest of the type. The stroke weight on the arm seems too narrow to fit with the other four letters, or perhaps it meets the stem too low. I keep getting trapped in the negative space between the arm and the stem of that 'k'
